Understand Evalio without exposing how the method works.

A public-safe guide for buyers, client reviewers, consultants, and operators. Each entry explains what a concept means, why it matters, what you can do, and what you cannot infer — with the boundary stated where one is needed. Protected methodology remains confidential.

What Evalio is

Evalio is a governed decision system for Total Rewards. It moves structured workforce evidence into reviewable outputs and decision records — job evaluation, leveling, salary structure, internal equity, and more — each bounded by evidence, license, and governance posture.

What Evalio is not

Evalio is not a salary survey, not an autonomous decision engine, and not a generic HR information system. It does not set pay, approve promotions, or certify legal compliance. It does not expose the proprietary method behind its outputs.

Decision Thread

A Decision Thread is the connected record of a workforce decision — the evidence provided, the governed output, the review context, and the human approval — held together so the decision can be traced end to end.

Evidence

Evidence is the structured role and organisational context a workflow needs before it can produce a governed output: role purpose, accountabilities, decision scope, reporting context, and source-rights posture.

Human Review

Human review is the required checkpoint where a named reviewer reads an output and its review context, then approves or returns it. Every consequential output passes through human review before use.

Decision Room

The Decision Room is the governed surface where outputs are reviewed, discussed, and approved. It carries the output, its evidence posture, and its boundaries together so review happens with full context.

Companion Intelligence

Companion Intelligence is Evalio's advisory assistant. It explains terms, points out missing or inconsistent evidence, suggests review questions, and helps interpret an artifact — always advisory, never deciding.

Protected Methodology

Evalio's evaluation method — the scoring, weights, thresholds, formulas, survey mechanics, and derivation logic — is protected. The platform exposes what an output represents and how to review it, not how the method runs internally.

Representative Preview

A representative preview is illustrative content that shows what a surface or artifact looks like using non-client, representative data. It demonstrates structure and boundaries without exposing any real client information.

Output Use

Output use defines how Evalio outputs may and may not be used. Outputs are advisory inputs into governed human review. They are not final decisions, and production use is controlled by the enterprise agreement.

Artifacts

Artifacts are the governed outputs a workflow produces — evaluation rationale, grade views, salary structures, equity findings, executive packs — each carrying its evidence posture and boundaries.

Audit Trail

The audit trail is the append-only record of governed events — submissions, reviews, approvals, and changes — that lets a decision be reconstructed and a change be attributed.

Executive Packs

An executive pack assembles governed outputs into a briefing for an executive or board audience, carrying each output's evidence posture and boundaries so the pack supports a decision without overstating it.

Pilot / Proof Access

Pilot and proof access is the governed path for evaluating Evalio with representative content and a bounded scope before a full engagement, with implementation support and an enterprise agreement governing production use.
