AI governance

AI supports the decision. It does not own it.

Evalio uses bounded AI to prepare evidence, challenge assumptions, explain trade-offs, and support scenarios. Named people remain responsible for review, approval, and action.

AI prepares · Consultant reviews · Client decides.

This sequence governs every AI-supported workforce and Total Rewards decision in Evalio.

Bounded support

What AI may do inside Evalio.

The form of support changes by context. The human authority boundary does not.

Prepare and explain

AI may summarize evidence, identify gaps, explain trade-offs, and prepare questions for review.

Challenge and simulate

AI may surface contradictions, frame alternatives, and support controlled scenario analysis.

Human review required

A named consultant reviews sensitive output before it is used in a workforce or reward decision.

Client authority retained

The organization retains approval, accountability, and authority for every material decision.

Absolute prohibitions

What Evalio AI cannot do.

These actions remain outside the AI boundary and require accountable human authority.

  • Assign a grade autonomously
  • Approve a pay or promotion decision
  • Determine variable-pay, benefits, severance, or actuarial entitlement
  • Initiate restructuring or take workforce action
  • Produce a legal, regulatory, or compliance conclusion
  • Expose protected methodology, scoring weights, or thresholds
Honest output language

AI output states its limits instead of presenting certainty.

Sensitive output is framed as evidence-bounded support for review, not as an autonomous determination.

Grade outcome

Indicated from the evidence provided — human review required

Market position

Indicative positioning — not a certified survey output

Equity pattern

Pattern identified — reviewer judgment required

Confidence

High, moderate, or limited confidence in the evidence basis

Contradiction

Evidence contradiction detected — reviewer attention required

Governed record

AI support remains connected to evidence, reviewer, approval, and final rationale.

The Decision Room preserves the evidence basis, assumptions, risks, alternatives, reviewer challenge, named approval, and the final decision record.

Review how AI supports serious workforce decisions without replacing accountable judgment.
