Framework Equivalences

Bounded reference views across common market grading frameworks.

Organisations operating across multiple grading systems need bounded interpretation aids, not mechanical label matching. This page provides reference views only — not a conversion engine, not a disclosure of internal mapping mechanics, and not a formal ownership claim over external frameworks.

Framework views are bounded interpretation aids

The reference views on this page are bounded interpretation aids for organisations operating across multiple grading systems. They are not a conversion engine, not a claim of ownership of external frameworks, and not a disclosure of how Evalio produces grades.

Reference views, not conversions

The reference view for a grade indicates the external bands an organisation typically considers when interpreting that grade. It is not a formula, not a mapping algorithm, and not a replacement for governed review. Internal logic for how Evalio arrives at a grade is not exposed here.

Interpretation supports, not replaces, review

A reference view does not make governed evaluation and review redundant. The evaluation produces the grade. The reference view helps organisations read that grade against external frameworks they also operate in.

Bounded ranges, not point equivalences

Reference views are expressed as ranges, not single-point matches. A grade will typically overlap with parts of adjacent bands in external frameworks. This reflects genuine interpretive variance across systems, not imprecision in the method.

Evalio grade-to-framework reference view.

This table presents a bounded reference view between Evalio grades (G4–G22) and four market grading frameworks. Ranges are indicative interpretation aids only — not point-to-point mechanical matches, not a conversion engine, and not a disclosure of internal mapping mechanics.

Bounded reference view (2026). Ranges are interpretation aids — not a conversion engine, not a disclosure of internal mapping mechanics, and not a formal ownership claim over external frameworks. External trademarks belong to their owners. Boundary grades may overlap with ranges in the target framework.

What a reference view is not

Six boundaries that apply to every reference view on this page.

These boundaries are not disclaimers added after the fact. They are what makes the reference view safe to use — for Evalio, for the organisations whose frameworks are named, and for the buyer relying on it.

Approximate and contextual

A reference view is an indicative communication aid expressed as a range. It is not a certified conversion and not a point-to-point equivalence.

Dependent on scale and evidence

Where a role sits in any framework depends on organisational scale and the quality of the role evidence. The same Evalio grade can correspond to different external bands in different organisations.

Subject to expert calibration

A reference view supports a conversation between practitioners. It does not replace calibration, review, or professional judgment.

The Evalio grade remains the Evalio result

The approved Evalio grade is the primary output. The reference view is context alongside it, never a substitute for it.

External names are used for market context only

Korn Ferry, WTW, Mercer, and Aon names and framework names are their owners' trademarks, used descriptively so that organisations already operating those frameworks can orient themselves.

No affiliation or endorsement

Evalio is not affiliated with, licensed by, endorsed by, or derived from any external provider. A reference view is not an official mapping by that provider, is not a substitute for a licensed evaluation under that provider's method, and does not guarantee that two roles evaluated under different systems are the same. It is not a salary-market conversion table.

Covered frameworks

Frameworks for which Evalio provides a bounded reference view.

Reference views are living interpretation aids. They are updated when external framework revisions warrant it. This is not a conversion engine and not a disclosure of internal mapping mechanics.

Hay / Korn Ferry

A widely used point-factor framework across global enterprise. External trademarks belong to their owners; Evalio provides a bounded reference view only, not a crosswalk engine.

Mercer IPE

A widely used grading framework across global enterprise. External trademarks belong to their owners; Evalio provides a bounded reference view only, not a crosswalk engine.

WTW Global Grading System

One of WTW's proprietary job-levelling approaches, widely used for global job levelling in enterprise. Evalio does not publish a WTW band count or factor list, because no current first-party WTW source has been verified for those details. External trademarks belong to their owners; Evalio provides a bounded reference view only, not a crosswalk engine.

Radford / AON

A level-based framework common in technology sectors. External trademarks belong to their owners; Evalio provides a bounded reference view only, not a crosswalk engine.
